New Church closed on Monday mornings

A reminder that the New Church will open at 3:30pm on Mondays to provide time to clean up from the weekend.

Our full weekend Mass schedule is our Saturday Vigil at 5:30pm, and Sunday at 9:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm (Spanish) & 6:00pm.

Catholic Services Appeal

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Catholic Services Appeal this past weekend, supporting the mission and ministries of the Diocese of Austin. If you haven’t had a chance to give yet, simply visit aggiecatholic.org/csa24 or pick up an envelope at the back of the church. Every contribution makes a difference. Thank you for your generosity and support for our diocesan family.


Thanksgiving Food Drive

Join St. Mary’s in helping the St. Vincent de Paul Society provide Thanksgiving groceries for 200 families who are struggling this year. You can help by bringing non-perishable food items to the church from November 2-17 or by giving a monetary donation to sponsor a family. Aggie Knights Turkey Fry

The Knights of Columbus are hosting their annual Turkey Fry fundraiser! We’ll have plain, smoked, herbal, and cajun seasoned turkeys. Visit aggiecatholic.org/turkeyfry to pre-order a Thanksgiving turkey for pickup on November 24.



Mission Trip Application Deadline Extended

Mission trip applications are still open! This year our spring break mission trips will be to Austin, TX and Denver, CO. In Austin we will be partnering with Mobile Loaves and Fishes, and in Denver we will be partnering with Christ in the City. To apply visit aggiecatholic.org/missiontrips.

Coat and Blanket Drive

This is the last week of our coat and blanket drive with Twin City Missions. If you have gently used coats, blankets, gloves, hats, and scarves, we invite you to place these items in the cardboard box located in the Student Center. Please help us keep our neighbors warm this upcoming winter. The box will be there until November 8.

Silver Taps

Join the Knights of Columbus at the St. Mary statue this Tuesday, November 5, at 9:45pm to pray a rosary for the faithfully departed and especially those being honored at Silver Taps.

Let's Talk About Voting

Election Day is this week, and voting can feel overwhelming. In his talk, Let’s Talk About Voting, Fr. Jakob shares insights on approaching the polls with a well-formed conscience and faith. Click here to listen and reflect on how we can vote with integrity and prayerful discernment.

Dia De Los Muertos      

All are invited to join for our Dia de los Muertos, Day of the Dead, celebration on Wednesday, November 6 at 7:00pm. Come to the JPII Event Center for food, friends, and a performance by the Texas A&M Mariachi! This event will be followed by a celebration of our departed loved ones in the form of a dance party! We have an altar in the Student Center where you can place pictures of your deceased loved ones. Please join us in praying for our loved ones and celebrating their lives!

Potluck Dinner Save the Date

Students, save the date for November 13! We’ll be hosting two potlucks for Men and Women. Mark your calendar for good food and good times!

Prayers for Upcoming Retreats

We have two retreats coming up: Aggie Awakening #124 from November 8-10, and Necesito De Ti from November 15-17. We ask that you keep the retreaters and staffers in your prayers as they grow in relationship with Christ and in friendship with each other.

How Do I Navigate Parking at St. Mary’s?

Parking for Masses on the weekend is available in our main lot out to your left, the small lot behind the Sonoco gas station and the small lot across from the old church as well as over flow parking in the gravel lot by the Hudson apartments across from the main lot.

Free parking is also available at the Northgate garage off College Main on Sunday mornings.

During the week if you come to pray or to study or hang out in the student center, you simply need to check in with the receptionist for the time that you’re in our buildings. If you’d like to park so as to also go to class we ask that you pay the daily fee through ParkMobile.

FOCUS Athlete Outreach

Are you an athlete looking to get involved? We have athlete Bible studies available to help you or your team grow in your faith! Fill out this Google Form to get connected!

St. Mary’s Unexpected Pregnancy Hotline

If you or someone you know is unexpectedly pregnant, please know that St. Mary's has resources to support materially, psychologically, and spiritually both during and after pregnancy. We have a dedicated hotline (979-320-9780) that you can call or text with your first name and contact information. An adult will follow up with you. Students are not leading this ministry.

Local Service Opportunities

St. Mary's has many new ongoing opportunities this year to serve and encounter the poor through events such as lunch in the park with people in need, street ministry in Austin, Bingo and Ice Cream socials with the elderly, and helping mothers in need at the Elizabeth Home. The Pursuit

Did you know? St. Mary's has a ministry called The Pursuit for students who experience same-sex attraction or gender dysphoria. The Pursuit provides a supportive and formative community of fellow students striving to live a virtuous life. Participation in this ministry is confidential. Spiritual Direction

Fr. Art is here to meet with individuals for spiritual direction or confession on Mondays beginning at 8:30am. His schedule is specifically reserved for students from 11am-3pm. You can sign up at the front desk or by emailing the receptionist at info@aggiecatholic.org.
