Gameday Parking

Welcome!

Whether you're here for Mass, a visit with a friend, or just curious about the big church across from campus—here’s everything you need to know about parking at St. Mary’s Catholic Center in College Station.

We know campus parking can feel a bit overwhelming, so we’ve worked to keep it simple: free options for visitors, affordable all-day parking, and long-term permits for those who are here regularly throughout the week.

Coming for Mass?

We’re honored to have you join us. Here’s how parking works depending on when you attend:

Weekend Masses & Evening Masses

  • Parking is always free for daily evening Mass and all weekend Masses. No permit, payment, or sign-in required*.

  • You can park in any maroon-marked area on our parking map:

    • Main church lot

    • Breen Lot - adjacent to sand volleyball court/behind Subway

    • Nagle St. Head-In spaces

    • Cross St. Head-In spaces

    • 505 building rear lot (across Stasney St.)

    • College Main Garage (free on Sundays from 6 AM–2 PM)

    • Not shown in image: Gravel lot at Cross & Nagle (open Sundays only — Enter lot from Stasney St.)

We encourage carpooling when possible, as space can be limited during busy liturgies. If you live nearby, consider walking over with your roommates or friends — no need to worry about parking, and a great way to start your Sunday together.

*Except home football game Saturdays.

Weekday Mass at 12:00 PM

If you’re attending our 12:00 PM daily Mass on Wednesday or Friday parking is still free, but please note:

  • You must sign in with your license plate # at the iPad located in the Church Narthex or Student Center front desk to validate your parking.

  • Park in the maroon Visitor area or the Green area if there are no visitor spots available.

Because noon daily Mass falls within regular business hours, weekend rules do not apply.

Parking at St. Mary’s?

We’re so glad you’re here!

If you’re visiting St. Mary’s any time during business hours (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM) — for Mass, prayer, study, or a meeting — it’s free, but we ask you to sign in at the iPad with your license plate #:

  • Located in the Church Narthex and Student Center front desk

  • Takes 10 seconds

  • Good for 3 hours (you can renew if needed)

  • Please park in the 4 rows signed as “Visitor Parking” near the main entrance

If you’re parking here but going elsewhere during business hours (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM) — to class, campus, or a coffee shop — you’ll need to use the ParkMobile app to pay for a parking session (Zones 40951, 40952, or 40953)

If you’re parking in one of St. Mary’s lots outside of business hours (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM every day of the week) - you’ll need to use the ParkMobile app to pay for a parking session (Zones 40951, 40952, or 40953)

Parking Zones:

  • Maroon Areas: Reserved for short-term visitors and volunteers only

  • Green Areas: For students or guests with valid permits or active ParkMobile sessions

  • Yellow Areas: Reserved strictly for staff — please do not park here at any time during business hours (Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00PM)

If the maroon visitor area is full, visitors may park in the green zones as long as they are properly checked in or have an active session in ParkMobile.

To avoid parking fine notices, always make sure you are either properly signed in or have paid for a ParkMobile session within 15 minutes of entering any St. Mary’s parking lot.

A quick note on fines: St. Mary’s now uses a license plate recognition system to keep our lots open and fair.

There’s a 15-minute grace period when you arrive. After that:

  • If you haven’t signed in or started a ParkMobile session, you may receive a fine notice by mail or on your windshield.

  • Visitors who feel they have received a fine notice in error may dispute the notice by visiting paymyparkingnotice.com.
