Aggie Catholic Ambassadors
What are Ambassadors?
The Aggie Catholic Ambassador program focuses on the virtue of gratitude. These students have benefited from the graces at St. Mary’s and are eager to say “thank you” to those who give back. As the representative students of St. Mary’s, Ambassadors show appreciation to our donors at prestigious and exciting events, but also through humbler means such as phone calls and letters. Because of the variety in responsibilities, this program will foster strong leadership and communication development among its members.
Positions are filled by members of the Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Classes.

The combination of the Aggie Spirit and the Catholic faith creates a special kind of generosity many have experienced at St. Mary's. We call ourselves "Aggie Catholics" because we are proud of the values our university stands for, and we believe these values are fruits of our faith. I personally have experienced these fruits at St. Mary's through the formation I have received, the community I have found, and even the buildings I get to enjoy. All of these things are directly made possible by the radical generosity of current students and alumni. Through gifts of time, talents and treasure, St. Mary's has created a culture effective at creating apostles for the Church and the world. Serving as an Aggie Catholic Ambassador is my small part in perpetuating this culture by saying thank you to those who support this mission and this place.

Before joining Aggie Catholic Ambassadors, I was unaware of how much generosity is required to make St. Mary’s thrive. Donors who might never know the names or even see all of the faces of the students they serve are constantly willing to sacrifice and give. They contribute not only through their treasure but also through imparting their wisdom and being an example of faith in action. Serving through Aggie Catholic Ambassadors provides the unique opportunity for both awareness of donor impact to St. Mary’s as well as the ability to say thank you for how much they do. The sacraments and ministries at St. Mary’s transform many lives and faith journeys. Personally, St. Mary’s has not only strengthened my faith but has also given me lifelong friends, made me into a better person overall, and given me a new perspective on staying strong in my beliefs on campus. Having the honor of giving back to these donors who have given so much is the great blessing of the Aggie Catholic Ambassador program.
