You don’t need to have everything figured out.

Jesus meets you right where you are.

Thursday Nights during Lent
Beginning March 20 at 8:00pm

What is Jesus is Lord?

"Jesus is Lord" is a series of gatherings designed to help us discover, re-encounter, and explore the person of Jesus. These gatherings will meet us right were we stand—whether searching, stuck, or looking to go deeper.

Life is busy, and it’s easy to feel like your relationship with Jesus is slipping away.

Why you need be at these gatherings:

As a student, your life is full—classes, work, friends, and everything in between. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed or like there’s no time to focus on your relationship with Jesus. Yet, even in the chaos, He’s inviting you to pause, reconnect, and take the next step in your journey with Him and His Church.

These gatherings aren’t just a break from the busyness—they’re an opportunity to connect with friends, experience the strength of community, and, above all, encounter Jesus. Together, we’ll take that next step, trusting that Jesus meets us right where we are.

Night One:
He Knows Your Name

Missed the first night of Jesus is Lord? You can listen to the full talk here.

Fr. Will and Sr. Kalin reflect on the story of Zacchaeus—how a man searching for something more found himself being called by name by the very One he was hoping to see.

Jesus knows your name, too. And He’s already looking for you.

Take a moment to listen, reflect, and consider how Jesus might be inviting you into something deeper.

Night Two: The Woman at the Well

He meets you in the mess—and offers you living water.

Night Three: The Cross —
Why Suffering Isn’t the End

Kevin Pesek ‘10, our Formation Campus Minister, speaks to us about the Cross—not as a symbol of defeat, but of victory. Jesus didn’t avoid suffering—He entered into it. And He invites you to do the same, not alone, but with Him.

What cross are you carrying right now? Are you letting Jesus help you carry it?

You don’t have to carry it alone. Jesus is with you.

Night Four: The Prodigal Son

We’ve all had moments where we felt distant from God. Maybe we’ve run away like the younger son—or stayed close but with a hardened heart like the older son. Either way, the Father’s response is the same: Welcome home.

TJ Poynor ‘18 speaks to us on the story of the Prodigal Son, and how the Father’s love isn’t based on your performance or your failures—it’s based on who you are: His child.

The invitation is to be present—to take your “shoes off” your heart and just let yourself be with the Father.

Let us know you’re coming!

Take a moment to pause, be inspired, and discover what it means to live differently this Lent. Whether you’re looking for community, clarity, or a fresh start, let us know you’re coming so we can save a seat for you.
