Our Mission

To love our brothers and sisters on the streets in Denver.

We will be serving with Christ in the City missionaries in Denver, CO. Our mission is to love others as Christ loves us: in and through our poverty. We are seeking to do this with our brothers and sisters who are experiencing homelessness. During our mission trip, we will have the opportunity to do daily life with the missionaries which includes daily prayer through mass, liturgy of the hours, and adoration, receive intellectual and spiritual formation, and go on street walks. Overall, we seek to create a culture of encounter where everyone is seen, known, and loved.

Student Testimonies

"Homelessness is a very real issue, and you would be surprised at how much it means to the marginalized of society when someone makes the time and effort to really learn about their lives and talk to them about everything, from faith to what their favorite color is."

"Be a friend. A big takeaway from this experience that I think about is to stop judging by status or appearance because we are all human. Every human needs a friend and every human has a story. Listen to those you would normally stray away from and go out of your comfort zone."

"This is one of the most human and raw experiences I have ever been apart of and it is extremely eye opening.
It is worth your time, effort, and love. Take a leap of faith and GO!"
