Information about registration for new volunteers, or for previous volunteers who need to transition to VIRTUS, is available here.

EIM Requirements

All clergy, religious, seminarians and employees, and adult volunteers serving in a ministry requiring EIM compliance must attend an EIM Workshop every 3 years.

To create a new account or view your workshop history on an existing account, please log in by visiting the VIRTUS website.

Diocese Information

On Jan. 1, 2002, the Austin Diocese instated new policies on Ethics and Integrity in Ministry for all those who work in the church, whether in paid or volunteer programs. Anyone - volunteers, paid staff or clergy -- who works with minors or vulnerable adults in a parish or diocesan setting is required to attend one of these workshops. You must also complete a Secure Online Application (eAppsDB) so that a criminal record check can be done.
