The Activity Center is located behind the chapel and in between the Church and the Catholic Center.
This is your chance to see what it takes to live your mission in your everyday life, both as a student and post-graduation. The panel will discuss how God has worked in their lives through their own service and mission experiences and how they have been able to take that into their everyday lives!
It is sponsored by St. Mary's Mission Trips.
Panel guests include: Seth Robert, Allison Cavazos, Ryan Efaw, and Kathy Polzer
- Seth Robert is one of our FOCUS missionary since fall 2016. Late in his junior year of college, he was introduced to FOCUS and was lead to a mission trip to Brazil that summer which became a turning point in his life. He then felt called to mission and is serving as FOCUS missionary at St. Mary’s catholic Center
- Allison Cavazos is a former Aggie Catholic. She participated in the Artegea Mission trip in Mexico with St. Mary’s. She alsospent a summer in San Antonio with VIDES as a volunteer (domestic mission) before working for them after graduation. She has worked for many years with Catholic Charities of Central Texas first as Gabriel Project coordinator and now as Parish Relations Coordinator.
- Ryan Efaw is a former Aggie Catholic and former ACT intern. As an intern he led St. Mary’s mission trip to Houston during Spring Break. After graduation he worked as a nurse in a Houston hospital, then became a missionary with ADORE in Houston for 6 months and now continues his mission in health care as a nurse.
- Kathy Polzer is a 7th Grade Science teacher in College Station ISD. She is a parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in College Station and has been leading their annual Medical Mission Trips in Guatemala for several years. She has also participated in other short-term mission trips.
