In fidelity to the Gospel call to love others as Christ loves us, the goal of St. Mary’s Mission Trips is to share in and learn from the lived experience of our brothers and sisters from all over the world including the USA. By sharing in the faith, work and culture of those we meet during our mission trip, this becomes a life-changing moment in one’s spiritual, educational and personal formation. This experience challenges participants to integrate the values of the Gospel and the social teachings of the Church into their lives and to encourage change in the lives of those around them.
St. Mary’s offers three mission trips (two during Spring Break and one in May):

In order to allow for time for prayer to discern if you are called to participate to one of the mission trips, completed applications will not be accepted before
. Turn your application at the receptionist desk or online. There are 18 spots available for the Honduras mission, 19 for the domestic mission, and 18 for the Costa Rica mission.
There are several key components to St. Mary’s Mission Trips: education, service, cultural immersion, and spiritual growth. In order to live the most meaningful and memorable mission experience, and to build a team spirit
participants are required to commit to all aspects of preparation, participation and follow-up, including all preparatory and post-mission meetings.
Applications will be available at the receptionist desk now or
beginning on September 18th . Return paper application to the receptionist desk for the Honduras mission by Sunday, October 9th, and for Domestic and Costa Rica missions by Sunday, October 23.
- One-on-One Meeting
A meeting time will be scheduled:
- For Honduras: between Wednesday, Sept. 21 and Wednesday, Oct. 12.
- For Domestic and Costa Rica: between Wednesday, Sep 21 and Friday, Oct. 28.
Once application has been turned in, a one-on-one meeting will be schedule via email. If you have to reschedule your meeting, you will need to contact Madeline or Clotilde.
