Bring non-perishable food items to the Church from November 8 to 18. Bags for a family of 4 to 6 contain: cans of corn (3), green beans (3), other veggies (1), sweet potatoes (2), cranberry (1), pumpkin (2), fruit (3), 2 lbs of rice, 2 lbs of pinto beans, 1 lb of egg noodles, packages of Mac & Cheese (3), potato flakes (1), stuffing (1), gravy mixes (2), cornbread mix (2) and dessert mix (2). Most of the food we distributed comes from food drives at the local Catholic parishes, because the Brazos Valley Food Bank is unable to provide extra items for the Thanksgiving, so we really need your participation and generosity.
Each family will receive in addition a gift certificate of $15 to $25 to buy perishable food. See the parish office if you want to make a monetary donation to the St. Vincent de Paul Society to help cover the cost of the gift certificates.
